Tried to break her back with its ugly pain.
Heavy it was. Weighed down on her it did.
Unloaded its triumph on her to catch and hold.
And she felt it in the depths of her soul.
It broke her but it did not break her good, for there were only a few broken bones. And it was in her darkest moments that she found HER light. She saw a gleam and wanted more so she chased that light. She captured it and held on tight. Shined it on the broken bones in her back. Its warmth healed her. Healed her broken back, back to being whole, again.
Now, she, me & you, my dear, we are unbreakable.
