Yes, there are many ways I could seek revenge on others but honestly, it’s not in me. When others have spoke negatively about me, gossiped, spread rumors and caused pain I could easily do the same to them. Yet, being vindictive is not who God has called me nor you to be. He has called us to be greater and better despite our feelings.
He has called us to be the bigger person among the immature.
He has called us to walk in integrity among those who lack it.
He has called us to lead with love among the unlovable.
He has called us to not play tit for tat among the petty.
He has called us to forgive among the unforgivable.
So remind yourself beautiful girl when you’re tempted to be spiteful, the best revenge is no revenge. Let it go. Let it be. Your reward will come from your diligence and discipline to do right even when you could’ve easily done wrong.
