My decisions today will impact generations of children that I will never meet. Children I will never see or know. Children I will never get the pleasure to exchange beautiful words with or rub my fingers across their sweet cheeks. However, they will face the consequences, reap the rewards or a lack therof my efforts. They will carry the genes from their future father and I. Our blood will run deep and thick through their veins.They will be exposed to generational curses but my choices, my words, my actions, my prayers have the power to cancel them.
No, I will not take lightly this life I live. This time, space & energy I share with others. Whom I choose to share it with. My efforts will be intentional. My steps will be purposeful. My legacy will be in the back of my mind at all times. I will not be sorry. I will not apologize for there’s a lot riding on my decisions today. For they will impact generations of children that I will never get the pleasure to exchange beautiful words with or rub my fingers across their sweet cheeks.
